The Bishop's Opening and The Italian Game

A few years ago, ChessBase released a DVD showing how to attack with White against the Italian and the Ruy Lopez - the topic and the DVD were very well received. Since then, an overwhelming number of readers have repeatedly asked when there will be an update, so we have decided to make another DVD on this topic. The current DVD not only focuses on attacking ideas, but also offers White a complete repertoire against 1.e4 e5. This repertoire is based on the Bishop Game and the Ruy Lopez, thus avoiding the unpleasant Ruy Lopez. Anyone who studies this DVD and adds this opening to their repertoire will have a very strong weapon against 1...e5 - as the author's practice shows. From the 151 games he played with these openings, he achieved a result of 75 percent, which is well above average. The DVD contains a number of databases, which include thoroughly and well-annotated games as well as previously unpublished games by the author.
