In this game, 2-8 players go on an exciting journey through Europe and visit 32 important chess locations, meet famous chess players from history and have to answer questions about interesting details about one of the oldest games in the world. For the first time, chess is becoming even more multifaceted!

The board shows a map of Europe with 32 important chess locations. Each location is marked by a game point that shows one of 8 category symbols. The starting point is Madrid, the site of the first chess tournament in Europe in 1575, and the destination is Tromsø, the host city of the 2014 Chess Olympiad.

The question cards are divided into 8 categories:
- Curiosities
- Openings
- Matt in
- Rules
- Board and pieces
- Dictionary
- Timelessly beautiful
- Quiz

Each category has its own symbol and color, which are shown on the game board.

On each question card you will find the questions for the 4 different game levels:

Pawn - Knight - Rook - Queen

sorted by the difficulty of the question. So there is something for everyone. The different game levels are clearly marked. The answers can be found turned over on the other side.
