The Chess Tigers' sales stand at the GRENKE Chess Festival not only offered the opportunity to purchase chess equipment, but was also a meeting point where one could see one or two chess celebrities.
The winner of the A-Open, GM Hans Niemann, is also one of the buyers. At the end of the tournament he bought a Stappen booklet (episode 6). He told Jonathan Carlstedt that he had practiced with this booklet in the past and that he wanted it to be a reminder of the successful tournament.
The most famous German chess YouTuber, The Big Greek, also made an appearance at the Chess Tigers stand. He even helped out with the sales and signed books. In the featured image, you can see him signing Michael Busse's chess booster. In the image below, he is standing between the two Chess Tigers owners Sven Noppes (left) and Jonathan Carlstedt (right).
On the sidelines of the tournament, Jonathan Carlstedt was also interviewed by "Gunny" from the YouTube channel Gunny's Chessalyze. Among other things, he answered questions about how the Chess Tigers Shop came about and which are the most popular chess books.
