The White Sniper

Three typical moves characterize the White Sniper: White always plays 1.g3 2.Bg2 and 3.c4 - not necessarily in that order, but against every possible setup from Black. Think of the White Sniper as a hyper-accelerated dragon that White plays no matter what Black does. The White Sniper is surprisingly strong and super-solid - even more solid than the Black Sniper - but it bypasses the analyzed openings after 1.d4, and that makes the White Sniper an excellent weapon for playing for a win.
