Aron Nimzowitsch's book "My System" was published almost 100 years ago. Not all of the ideas have remained valid, but some of the insights are so powerful that they still influence the play of masters - and world champions - to this day. The most important ideas are blocking and deblocking. They determine the strategic events in a large number of games.
