Anti-London System

The London System is more popular today than ever before, and World Champion Magnus Carlsen is just one of many top grandmasters who has incorporated this opening into his repertoire. The London System represents today's approach to modern opening theory: White does not necessarily seek an advantage in the opening, but is content to make natural development moves and hopes to outplay his opponent in the middlegame. But the London System is not as harmless as it seems, and if Black is not careful, he can easily end up in a bad position. Opening theory is evolving rapidly these days, even in less concrete lines.
