1.e4 e5 - An active Black repertoire

For young and developing players, a very important piece of advice is to study open positions and gain an understanding of the value of piece coordination and the role of the center. These goals can be achieved by simply answering 1.e4 with 1...e5. Some claim that these positions are not sharp and interesting enough and suggest that one should choose various Sicilian variations instead, but this is not entirely true. This DVD aims to show that 1.e4 e5 can be extremely entertaining and that it is possible for Black to gain interesting counterplay in any opening.
