A complete White repertoire with the Spanish Exchange Variation

The Spanish Defense is one of the oldest openings and a good way for White to play for an opening advantage. But Black can choose from a variety of different systems such as the Steinitz Defense, the Zaitsev or Breyer Variation or even the Berlin Defense, to name just a few. Sometimes these systems are very complex and require a lot of knowledge of variations from the White player. If this is not available, the overview is lost and the resulting positions can seem "Spanish" in the truest sense of the word to the player making the first move.
