The Slav against the Reti

The Reti opening includes various white variations: Nf3 is obligatory, then there are variations with g3 or b3, but both fianchettos are also possible; the move c4 is also very common. Against all of these Reti variations, Henrik Danielsen suggests a setup with d5 ​​and c6, which involves the early development of Bc8 - mostly after g4, but sometimes also after f5. It is clear that this setup is primarily intended for Slav players, because in the early stages you have to expect d4 and the transition to this opening.
