Blübaum/Müller/Krallmann: Chess training with Matthias Blübaum

His path to the European Championship title

Together with his long-time trainer Matthias Krallmann, GM Matthias Blübaum describes his journey from his early youth to the European championship title. According to his own statement, he particularly benefited from the German Chess Federation's 'Princes' Group', which was set up in 2008 by the national junior trainer IM Bernd Vökler. The reader is not only taken along on this actually not so long journey of an outstanding young talent to become a top German player, but can also learn a lot for his own practice 'along the way' and is offered all kinds of didactic tips and tricks.
