Rules of the game

  • Pieces can be combined with one move.
  • A connected piece can move like any of its individual pieces.
  • Connected pieces can split up again.
  • If a connected piece is captured or promoted to a queen, it is removed from the board.

There are 15 possible types of combined pieces and the number of possible positions after the first move is 900! That's more than double compared to traditional chess. And yes... it can also be played as a traditional chess game. That's 2 games in 1.

This award-winning game concept is the perfect gift thanks to its elegant wraparound board (which also serves as packaging) that safely stores the pieces.

Your Chessplus set includes 38 high quality and durable resin playing pieces. The beautiful set of 19 ivory and 19 charcoal colored pieces comes with its own thick velvet travel pouch. 3 queens are included for each color as the game allows for more promotions than usual.

The design pays tribute to the traditions of chess piece design and features an interlocking design feature that allows for dual play of Chessplus and Chess.

The figures vary in height from 40mm to 70mm and are perfectly balanced to be practical in quick games, but still light enough to be transported efficiently. Nested display case, wraparound board and rulebook included.

Wir durften das Spiel in Essen ausprobieren. Die Idee ist klasse. Die Verarbeitung und Haptik der Deluxe Variante ist erstklassig. Leider wirklich teuer.
