King's Indian: A modern approach

Author Victor Bologan about his DVD: "Chess players who come to Iceland often visit Bobby Fischer's grave in Selfoss, in Reykjavik, to pay their last respects to the 11th World Chess Champion. With this DVD I would also like to remember Fischer and thank him: for his great contribution to chess, but especially for his achievement in making the King's Indian a full-fledged, popular opening. When I was ten, my coach advised me to study Fischer's openings and that is how I discovered the King's Indian. Later I learned how many strategic options Black has in this opening. He can opt for a flexible pawn structure and place his pawns after d6 and c6; he can play sharply and principled with ...Nc6 in the classic King's Indian and in some side variations he can resort to a pawn sacrifice with ...b5 in the style of the Volga Gambit.
