This DVD offers you a complete White repertoire against the most common response to 1.e4, the Sicilian Defense. After the initial moves 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3, White can choose three different setups depending on Black's response:
1. The “modernized” classical Grand Prix After 2...d6, White can immediately occupy the c4-f7 diagonal with his kingside bishop, for example 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3 d6 3.f4 g6 4.Bb5+ Bd7 5.Bc4. 2. The Bb5 Grand Prix After 2...Nc6, White develops his bishop to b5 to put pressure on the black c6 knight, for example 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3 Nc6 3.f4 g6 4.Nf3 Bg7 5.Bb5. 3. The “Chameleon” Finally, after 2...e6, it would not make sense for White to develop his bishop along the f1-a6 diagonal, so he continues with the extremely flexible 3.Nge2, which reserves all possibilities. The author IM Steve Berger shows which of these areas offers the best prospects under which conditions and how White should handle the various types of positions. Three in one - with this DVD!
