Accelerated Sämisch Volumes 1 and 2 - Benoni/King's Indian/Grünfeld: A White Repertoire after 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.f3
DVD1:
The King's Indian Defense is without doubt one of the most popular responses to 1.d4 at club level. And with good reason: Black's space disadvantage is usually sufficiently compensated by dangerous attacking opportunities on the kingside. As a white player, the main variations always seemed too dangerous to me, while the fianchetto system was too boring for me. The Sämisch system represents the perfect way out of this dilemma: the center is stabilized with the move f3, and a possible expansion on the kingside is prepared. So it is usually White who gets the attacking opportunities against the king.
On this DVD I would like to give you an insight into the depths of this strategically very sound system, which drives out all mating fantasies on the kingside for Black early on. Within the King's Indian complex, the DVD is divided along the black pawn advances ...c5, ...e5 and ...a6 as well as ...b5. I attach great importance to explaining the resulting pawn structures in detail and giving you the necessary strategic tools in addition to the specific repertoire recommendations. The DVD is rounded off with a discussion of the various Benoni variations after 2...c5. Since Benoni is structurally very similar to the King's Indian with ...c5, many plans and motifs can be transferred here.
