Safe and active with the Dutch Stonewall
The popular Stonewall with f5, e6, d5 and c6 got its name because it has proven to be a legendary defensive weapon in practice. But if you play the setup correctly (that is, with ...b6, ...Bb7, etc.), you can quickly become active yourself. Leonid Kritz introduces you to the corresponding variations from Black's perspective. In 5 videos with a running time of over 60 minutes, the German grandmaster tells you how to set up correctly so that you can get the Stonewall on the board with almost no knowledge of the variations. Nevertheless, it is of course also useful to learn a little concrete theory, and in order to give the Stonewall player a complete repertoire, Kritz covers not only the main variations with Sh3, Nf3 and b3, but also systems without g3 and the aggressive Staunton Gambit.
